WORKING FAMILIES

As a working parent, and I know the exhaustion of stretching every paycheck to cover childcare, groceries, and rent only to feel like you’re still drowning. Utah families are working harder than ever, but the system is rigged against us. Childcare costs more than college. Wages aren’t keeping up. And too many leaders in Utah would rather point fingers than fix the problems.

That ends with me. I’m running to fight for affordable childcare, fair wages, and a government that works for us, not the other way around. Because no family should have to choose between their job and their kids.

AFFORDABILITY

Utah’s cost of living is out of control. When rent eats half your paycheck, when childcare tuition takes another chunk out, when groceries cost more every month, and when a single medical bill can wreck your budget, that’s not a choice. That’s survival mode and it’s not right.

I’m running to change that. We need to get corporations out of the housing industry, lower healthcare costs, and wages that actually keep up with inflation. Because no one should have to choose between basic needs and no family should be priced out of the place they call home.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Politicians in Utah keep letting us down: taking lobbyist cash, ignoring our calls, and blaming everyone but themselves. I’m a veteran, a parent, and I work hard for a living. I don’t take orders from special interests and I don’t make excuses.

It’s time for leaders who show up, listen, and deliver. If you’re tired of empty promises, backroom deals, and bills that hurt Utahns instead of helping them, let’s hold them accountable together.

I’m running to serve the public, demand transparency, and put Utahns first. Because we deserve leaders who work for us, not the other way around.

UTAH FAMILIES NEED HELP — NOW MORE THAN EVER

In October, my wife took me around the valley to find a photo booth. When we did, she captured the moment I found out we were going to have a baby. This moment of elation was stolen from us when later that day we found out that Salt Lake County had abruptly voted to close four child care facilities, one that our two daughters attend.

That decision was a turning point for me. I launched a petition, worked with other affected parents to form a coalition, and showed up at every county council meeting to speak out and hold our elected officials accountable as additional public services for families and seniors were being cut.

When elected, I will bring that same vigor to the Capitol. I will hold the Legislature accountable for decisions that harm our communities and I will work to pass thoughtful, data-driven policies that make Utah a great place to raise our families. Together, we can build a Utah where people will not just survive, but thrive.
